It was great to hold our Men’s Shed weekly gathering again. Despite a few restrictions and enforcement of social distancing our loyal group members were glad to get to work on another challenging project.

The importance of the weekly gatherings was never so obvious when some of our group members had not really had much opportunity to meet up with friends for a chat and cup of tea. All so worthwhile as we all battle the side effects of the social isolation we experience living in a rural area but also being advised to stay home for so long.

We will continue to monitor the safety of our gatherings and will change the structure of the program based on advice from the DHHS.
